Today the Phillies put Jimmy Rollins and recently called up Chris Snelling on the 15-day Disabled List. Rollins is still suffering from his ankle sprain and Snelling has left knee inflammation. Rollins was hopeful to get back and play last week, but that never happened and he has yet to get better. He has pinch hit some while he has been out, but it has been apparent that he cannot run on his ankle.
Brad Harman, an infielder from AA Reading, and TJ Bohn, an outfielder from AAA Lehigh were called up to fill the roster spots. Harman was hitting a whopping .222, while Bohn was hitting at a blistering average of .190. Awesome.
Also, the Phillies are trying to not get swept by the Mets tonight at 8:05pm. I haven’t been able to watch the first two games yet but I know they were slightly disappointing.
