Mlb.com dispatched a survey to Major League scouts asking about who they thought were the best players in different categories.  The whole results are very interesting, but the best news is that Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins were voted as the best 2nd baseman and shortstop respectively.  Ryan Howard was also voted as the best power hitter.  Ichiro got a lot of love in the fielding, batting, and baserunning categories.  It makes sense considering he is one of the most fundamentally skilled players of all time.  Take a look at the survey, it’s very interesting.
